Priority Ambulance is one of the largest privately owned ambulance companies operating in East Tennessee. The company is headquartered in Knoxville, with operations serving hospitals and health care facilities throughout the region, in addition to exclusive 911 emergency ambulance services in Loudon, Cocke and Franklin counties. Today, the Priority Ambulance of East Tennessee team has grown to a 25 ambulance fleet with 175 employees proudly serving our patients and customers.



COMPANY HISTORY

  • 2014
    Priority Ambulance establishes its corporate headquarters in Knox County.
  • 2015
    Loudon County Commission selects Priority Ambulance as exclusive emergency and non-emergency ambulance provider.
  • 2018
    Priority Ambulance trains more than 110 residents to Stop the Bleed; donates bleeding control kits to all Loudon County schools.
  • 2020
    Priority Ambulance awarded new contract for 911 ambulance service with Loudon County, TN.
  • 2022
    Priority Ambulance awarded new contract for 911 ambulance service with Cocke County, TN.
  • TODAY
    Priority Ambulance East Tennessee has more than 175 EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers & support staff serving more than 25,000 patients each year with 25 ambulances and emergency vehicles.

Service Area

Priority Ambulance East Tennessee serves the patients and customers in Blount, Knox, Loudon and Cocke counties in East Tennessee. The company provides nonemergency ambulance services in Knox and Blount counties and is the exclusive emergency and nonemergency provider in Loudon and Cocke counties.
